I’m Jess, and I am thrilled you are reading my blog. Just by reading this, you are making my dreams come true.

For as long as I can remember, I have seen life in photographs . In high school, I spent every penny I earned on a car and one-hour film processing. In college, I was the one who carried a huge purse just to make sure I had my camera at all times! Actually, I still do that…

I attribute my passion for photography to my Heavenly Father for creating such a beautiful world, and my Earthly Father for instilling into me the value of capturing that beauty.  I have millions of memories of my Dad snapping at anything and everything when we were kids. I am so glad that he did. 

If it were not for my amazingly supportive husband, I would not be doing this. He has fueled and encouraged my passion every step of the way and opened my eyes to what it feels like when a dream comes true.

My style is driven by the pursuit of preserving moments  that make life beautiful. As the years fly by, I believe the most value lies in revisiting past joys and all of the emotions that come along with them.  I want to capture people exactly how they are, how they feel, and doing what they love. To me that is true beauty, simple, natural, and real.

So hopefully we can team up and preserve some of those moments in your life. It would be my dream!
